The decor throughout the hotel was charming and created a cozy atmosphere. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, making it great for a good night's sleep. However, I was disappointed to find that the temazcal and spa facilities advertised were not operational. Additionally, water for guests came at a high price, which felt unreasonable. The noise level was bothersome in the morning, with all rooms facing the restaurant and courtyard, lacking proper soundproofing. On another note, my check-in was quick and the front desk staff were quite helpful, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, when it came to service during my stay, the management did not seem responsive to my concerns about the noise and facility unavailability. All in all, there were notable comforts but also significant areas for improvement, particularly with managing guest expectations.

The rooms have a unique character, showcasing traditional architecture, which adds to the local atmosphere. The overall ambiance feels true to the region's heritage.
There’s a noticeable lack of maintenance with peeling walls and dirty showers, not to mention stained towels. The rooms are devoid of windows, leaving an unsettling feeling of exposure to the outside noise, particularly from the bustling areas nearby. The temazcal was unoperational, further disappointing expectations for relaxation. In addition, the noise from the room above persisted late into the night, making rest difficult.

The hotel had beautiful traditional decorations, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. They arranged an airport shuttle for us and even gave us a complimentary bottle of tequila. Great location near downtown.
The noise from the outside could be bothersome at times during the night.

Family with children should think twice
The staff were helpful and had a quick check-in for my family which was nice after a long drive. The location was great too with some nearby attractions for the little ones.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still manageable.
